Fred has been a part-time resident of the Lake Geneva area since 1971 and moved here full time from the northern suburbs of Chicago in 2001. After 18 years in the futures business, Fred got his real estate license in 2002. Fred teamed up with Cindy Maher in summer 2003 and together they have closed over $50 million in real estate transactions since that time. Fred and Cindy both share the philosophy that their job is to protect the client as best they can and to ensure that the client enters into a transaction with eyes wide open, whether that client is the buyer or seller. Because Fred and Cindy both have business backgrounds, they treat the real estate industry like the true business it is, not a part-time hobby.

Fred graduated from Marquette University in 1983 with a B.A., married in 1988 and currently resides just outside of Lake Geneva with his wife, Linda, their 4 children, 2 dogs and 2 cats.
